Oz government to get into the internet filtering business

Every Australian family will be provided with a free internet filter and the federal Government will enter an unprecedented partnership with service providers to filter pornography at the source.

Interesting.  There are dozens of free filtering services out there, all of them working well without government getting involved.  This could be a step towards de facto censorship of things the Aussie government doesn’t like.  As always, it’s under the guise of “protecting teh children” from predators.

    was my stuff on that of any help to u, m8?…. ;-))……wht-evr transpires this November (the l8st that an oz Federal Election can be held) and, barring some convenient ‘false-flag’ psy-op/’9-11-style’ to once agin’ give Johnny W Coward some un-deserved & un-merited ‘kudos’, i’v got a feeling that it’s gunna be full of ’surprises’: perhaps like the 1999 Victorian State Election where a gaggle of ‘Independents’ (all elected by vrs flavours of dis-gruntled shooters’ groups!) held the balance of power for well over a year!

    (BTW: ‘web-tunnelling’ pretty well by-passes any attempt @ i/net ‘filtering’! ;-))
