My cousin was in town and he wanted to watch the movie Transformers. For those who do not know, Transformers were toys of shape-changing robots very popular in the 1980s. One might ask why I have decided to write on this movie based on a brand of toy? Well, it’s very pertinent, because this movie has been transformed (excuse the pun!) into yet another form of Yiddishkeit.

Basically, the movie is a feel-good film. An unpopular young boy not only saves the world but gets the girl of his dreams. The first sign of Jewishness in this movie was the choice of the protagonist high schooler. He was curlyhaired, unattractive, and very Jewish looking. I did a search on him on the Internet and I found out that he is in fact a half-Jew; a Cajun father and a Jewish mother. Naturally, as in most such unions, the child is raised Jewish, as was he.

The girl that he wins in the end is none other than a slatternly dressed bombshell; very sexy and very Nordic. During the progress of the movie, there is a scene where the boy is in his bedroom with the girl and they are both looking for something of value. She hides, his parents walk in, and his mom says that there is nothing to be ashamed about if he is spending his time masturbating. Only a Jew would include such an unneeded and crass scene in a movie a la American Pie. Anyway, the girl shows herself and the mother is ecstatic that he has an attractive girl-friend.

As we know, the scenario of the marginalization of Jewish youth growing up amongst gentiles is a common one in Jewish tradition. Typically, the Jews kvetch about their dark complexions among the fair goyim. Furthermore, who does not know about the Jewish fixation on Nordic shiksas: the non-Jewish girl who is leaps and bounds more attractive than her ugly and very hairy Jewish cousin?
