MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa - It’s as if it were her destiny.
A woman named Butts stands accused of stealing toilet paper from a central Iowa courthouse. It is a laughing matter, even though Suzanne Butts could go to the can for it.
“She’s facing potentially three years of incarceration for three rolls of toilet paper,” Chief Lon Walker said, stifling a laugh. “See, I can’t say it with a straight face.”
